10th ever Out North (Queer) Film Festival: the Queerest things seen on a Yukon screen!
This year’s theme is "Bring back the Sun: A Celebration of Trans and Queer Joy"...this year’s festival infuses our screens with radiant stories of resilience and self-discovery.
Each film captures the essence of the 2SLGBTQ+ experience. Join us in this cinematic celebration, where stories of love, identity, and empowerment unfold, promising a luminous exploration of joy. Together, we revel in the radiant light of the returning sun, embracing the beauty of trans and queer lives.

What can you expect this year?
- 4 feature films (including Kokomo City and Egghead & Twinkie)
- 3 local artists and performers taking the stage to bring you magic and cover your hearts in glitter
- 2 short film programmes celebrating Indigenous stories and stories of queer and trans joy and resilience. These programmes feature international, national, and local shorts.
- 1 all-round amazing community celebration where you will meet new and old friends, catch up, enjoy snacks and laughs together, and have the best chosen family reunion!

Cost of living got ya down? More than 50% of your income going toward housing? If you would like to come to the festival, but don’t feel like it’s in your budget right now, hit us up for a free ticket!!! We have a fistful of tickets set aside for each evening screening and will do our best to get one to you.
